Sandburg Halls N. Maryland Ave.

Using home-made(diy) microphones and a freeware sound editing program(audacity) you can make the quiet lull of Milwaukee dorm rooms at 4:00 p.m. sound much more interesting. The dripping and running of faucets create a solemn atmosphere with the drone of the elevator faintly moving in the back. Just as the sound becomes clear a swooping chorus of audacity effects turns a normal sound into something much more interesting.
